It's still kind of early. Meant great story. Though I think it's a great thread

Thanks for posting that Cedric. It just makes you smile. Never a bad thing.

And I agree with Heisey, bring the kid back before the season ends...or even for a playoff game?

The sports world needs more stories like this and less about lockouts and holdouts and worse.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Went to school with Teddy. When I saw that he was the bat boy, I was calling everyone I still knew from high school. The story portrays him well, but honestly doesn't do him justice. He really is such an awesome, high energy dude.

In a season of great stories for the Reds, this one right here is my favorite.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Awesome awesome story. Definitely brought tears to my eyes and made me love the Reds even more.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Same here. Just a great thing the Reds did. Teddy is just a great person who we all could learn something from.

Great story. The Akron Aeros have had a regular batboy with Downs known simply as Batman. He has his own personal jersey and is known to dance to the batter's intro music while retrieving bats.
