I'm sure they were Reds fans doing the howling...it picked up in the middle of the 9th when most of the Cubs fans were leaving.

I've got to admit, it's annoying, but I still find myself chuckling about it. I can't believe the Reds fans took it on the road. LOL.

The howl is going to take over the playoffs!

Dusty was laughing at it. Beats the heck outs Thundersticks, but it is so juvenile.

Well, the way I look at it...at least there are reds fans in attendance. Reds fans show up for road games...they can howl all they want IMO.

Considering how often Cubs fans have taken over the Cincy ballpark, I guess it's only fair. :O)

Yes. What the heck. If we're winning, who cares. Dusty got a good laugh out of it anyway, and that's the first time I've seen him smile during a game.

Grown men playing a kids game...seems appropriate.

Homer, when asked why he pitches better on the road:

"I'm not playing on a Little League field." Wow!

Homer's not playing on a Little League field, but it sure looked like a Little League offense that the Reds put on the field. I'm loving this season, but only scoring 3 runs on 4 hits against Justin Germano doesn't cut it for a team headed for the playoffs.

The quote indicates that the effect of pitching in GABP is inside Homer's head.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

BINGO. You are the winner! Mentally, it has worked on Homer. Time for him to get beyond that and alter his pitching. It is home, by the way.

Or that the effect of pitching in GABP is very real and affects a flyball pitcher pretty heavily.

Homer shows a sense of humor and he gets psychoanalyzed

It's real, but it shows to me that Homer is trying to be too perfect at home and it likely screws him up.
