Arredondo pitching. Cubs with a one out walk followed by a single. 1st and 3rd, one out.

    Arredondo out, Marshall in.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Arredondo is certainly an enigma at times. Just don't trust him for the playoffs.

I agree. But I think the other teams are going to see him as less of a threat if he's not hitting for power. The offense is pretty home run dependent and if Votto isn't hitting for power, the Reds may not be in the postseason for very long since no one seems to be getting on base in front of him.

I thought so earlier when he returned, but he hit two balls in Wrigley this week that probably leave GABP.

heh, Astros commentators commenting on the Pirates play of late "doing what they can to get under that 500 mark". Not sure they have room to talk, but funny still.

Top of 8 with bases loaded and 1 out there, see if the Stro's can blow another oppertunity to do some damage against the Cards.

I'm happy for the other team to see him as less of a threat. He missed two months and still leads the league in intentional walks.

2 bases loaded strikeouts for the AAAstros. *sigh* guess the number will not get to 1 for tomorrow's game.

It could. Don't the Cards have an afternoon game with the Cubbies?

Just checked and that is true, so there's hope that way. Heck the Central could be clinched by gametime tomorrow in theory.
