Because the hitter is rewarded for swinging at a bad pitch and the pitcher is penalized for getting the hitter to chase. It should be treated just like any other wild pitch or passed ball--any runners can advance, but batter is out.

I hear you logically, but then when first base is occupied, it suddenly doesn't matter if the catcher catches the ball to "finalize the out?"

Cueto struggles but gets out of the 2nd. Let's get this thing clinched and give him some rest.

This lineup is LOL funny for sure. Prayers to Dusty but good to see he still has a sense of humor.

Why on earth was he trying to stand up? Why not just stay down & wait for time to be called? Very bone-headed.

No idea. Maybe distracted by Jay Bruce's girlfriend??

Good thing to get that boneheadedness out of the way in a game that doesn't (apparently) matter given the lineup rolled out by the good guys.

More importantly, Cueto is giving up some frozen ropes today. Just doesn't look good...

Top of 5--St. Louis and Round Rock tied at 3-3.

Here, zip zip between Louisville and Iowa.

ruh roh, my 7 year old daughter will be disappointed if he's seeing someone. He's supposed to be waiting for her.

Pretty sure Jay is getting married this December to his longtime girlfriend from Texas.

Guess my daughter will have to move on to Drew Stubbs. She thinks he's cute too.
