Cueto works around the triple, still 0-0.

Astros threatening at Busch. I'm sure they'll screw it up somehow.

Time to break out a bit against this kid and put up a three spot!

For those interested, Canada just beat Great Britain 11-1 in a qualifier for the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

I almost feel bad for the fans at Wrigley who paid major league prices for a minor league game.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

What about those of us that paid major league money for the 2012 At Bat Package?

Riddle me this - if the purpose is maybe to get Cueto a few more wins for the Cy Young, why not start the Bad News Bears lineup last night and the regulars today?

Notably, I think Leake would hit fifth today.

Cueto gives up a leadoff single and then gets the next three as the Cubs leave DeJesus stranded at third.

They have been watching minor league ball all season. Why feel bad for them now?

Mine hit first. On a more serious note, that is where things such as what has gone on in Houston this year brings "integrity of the game" questions onto the shoulders of GMs who fire sale.
