At this point I don't think they care about the win today as much as they care about how Cueto pitches. He needs a good start to build on.
He needs three wins to get to 20 with three more starts. I wonder if he cares about the win today? I remember last year when people wanted the youngsters to play more because the Reds were out of it and Baker responded with "Guys want to get their numbers" as the reasoning why a lot of the veterans were still in there. It's late September with an 11 game lead, day games after night games are a good chance to give guys an off day.

He'd have gone 2-4, HBP, with a basket wanger.
And he'd probably throw a couple guys out on the basepaths too I saw him do it multiple times watching games at louisville this year.
Yeah. It would be a shame if he's not coaching in Cincinnati when his playing days are over.
I wonder how much of this has to do with Dusty's illness. That's gotta be a pretty big distraction for most of the guys who have been here a while.
