It is truly amazing that we are on the verge of clinching the division the way this offense
    performs day after day.

Yup, it is amazing at times. This offense must be upgraded in the offseason if they want to repeat a playoff run.

which is why i have a feeling we may fall flat on our face in the playoffs just like 2010. Alot of lucky runs that the Reds have gotten lately wont be there in the playoffs, everything must me earned

Leake, Arroyo and Latos hit better than the 'regular' hitters at times.

We can't depend on coming back late in games in the playoffs against good teams like we have against the Cubs, Astros, Mets, etc. Facing a Kimbrel or the like in the playoffs could mean lights out.

Phillips has had a couple of good swings tonight with nothing to show for it. Good sign after that road trip where he wasn't making good contact ever.

right, but the same could be said for teams getting behind on our bullpen but i fear we may not have a lead often due to the worst offense of all the playoff teams

True, but taking into account the parks, we have the best pitching.

    I'll take pitching over hitting.

Like that we scored a run PLUS made Blanton throw some pitches last inning.

Looks like some heavy rain just went through Indianapolis, but for now it is staying north of Cincinnati
