    I don't recall ever seeing that before. West said the pitcher didn't come set, but you usually only see that with runners on.

    If you saw the video replay, obviously I have no problem. You seem to be in the majority anyway. It looked close to me, most obviously disagree.

    Maybe the only way the Reds will win this game is if Tim Byrdak somehow becomes a Dodger, recovers from injury, gets on the roster and into the ballgame, all within the next twenty minutes.

    He never came to a stop...it was one continuous motion. Honestly, I don't know what the rule is because I've never seen it called with the bases empty, either.
