Runs will be very very very hard to get today with this lineup......not a very good way to
be showcased on prime time national TV. Three automatic outs, the pitcher, and a rookie. Won't be surprised if we are shut out.

We clinched yesterday and guys celebrated. I expected a lineup like this...and Votto of course since he's still trying to work back into things.

I have seen guys in the dog house before but never in as deeply as Mesoraco. He is buried beyond Janishian levels. Devin has appeared in just two games in September. Has not gotten in before the 8th inning. No starts. Seems like he could have gotten a start somewhere down the line. Even the call-ups have. The rose is off the bloom at this point.

People said when he was called up last year he would be a middle of the order hitter by this time.

I dont think he did himself any favors by the way he was suspended either.

Maybe not....but players get tossed, he was fighting for his pitcher.

I agree that it's weird. I'd also be resting Hanigan at this point.

I get the feeling that they's more to the story than just getting tossed. Otherwise, why did he go from the #2 catcher to basically a back-up, back-up, back-up pinch hitter.

Hopefully Bailey is not to hungover to pitch 6 innings tonight. He was annoying in the celebration footage with those dumb sunglasses.

Been a great day so far....

    Bengals win.

    Stealers* lose.

The Rage make a customary dumb Bailey post.

Lets top it off with a Reds win!

You still think he should be in the pen...his ERA at GABP in Sept is below 2.
