9/22/12- Reds vs. Dodgers, "Let's Clinch this Thing Again!!!"

    For real this time...

    Phillips 4
    Paul 7
    Votto 3
    Frazier 5
    Bruce 9
    Heisey 8
    Navarro 2
    Cozart 6
    Latos 1

All things considered, I love this lineup.

Reds are on Fox today. In Chicago we get Twins/Tigers. Game will be blacked out on mlb.tv. Thanks Fox!
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I am pulling for the Cards to beat the Cubs.

I want the Reds to win this thing on the field. It's much more fun that way

I like this. Even having BP 2nd to bat in front of Votto would have been good too.

Stubbs.... I just cannot stand this player anymore. What great CF D does he have that outweighs playing him everyday or that much at all besides as a D replacement?

He is no Paul Blair.... he is more Mike Anderson (Phillies) or Ken Berry (White Sox, Angels).... guys who would play 100-140 games and barely get 400 AB's beacuse they were auto outs.

They just showed Speier and I laughed to myself again about BCubb's last Random Thoughts.

Latos looked extremely sharp that first inning. Great pop on his fastball and terrific movement on it.

Cubs have 2 runners on in the bottom of teh 9th. Today probably the only time I will ever root for the Cardinals as I want the Reds to clinch this on the field.
