So now, it's Valdez. Everybody moves in. Only kidding, I like Wilson.

Wilson hits a weak grounder into a force play at second. One out.

Would have rather he bunted if he can't get it out of the infield.

Agree, but don't want bat taken out of Joey's hands. Whole point of playing Joey is to let him hit.

    2-1 on Votto. Now 3-1.

Votto walks unintentionally. First and second, one out, Frazier up.

Kershaw with 13 pitches, only one out. Can't imagine he will go very deep tonight after injury absence.

Sinatra, oh I mean Frazier, falls behind 0-2.

Todd fans, fooled on a curve.

Probably was going to be pitched around whether 1st was open or not - might have been able to steal 3rd if Heisey is on 2nd.

Anyway, two down, not a great at bat by Todd, but there will be a next time.

Cairo up. Infield single to deep short. Loaded up for Phipps.

Valdez wanted to score there, but held.

Apparently they switched back Cairo and Phipps. Gotta have Miggy batting 5th, he hits too well to bat lower.

Phipps gets decent wood on it, but flies to Kemp. Three out. Headed to the second.

You're right, Phipps hitting fifth was key.

Homer for A Gonzalez just over right field fence. 1-0 LA.

Adrian has 7 for 13 with four homers against Homer. ESPN fun fact.

Hard grounder to Cairo, one out.

Homer being Homer at home... But as long as they are single shots, I'll take em.

A homer to a great lefty hitter (even in a power drought) just over right field fence is ok with me. A solo, anyway.

    Liner to Heisey, two outs.

ESPN informs that Kyle Lohse is now 16-3.

Herrera up with two outs, one in. 3-1 count. Homer with 27 pitches. Ball four, man on first.
