Exactly. Yet somehow, we're the ones that don't get it?

I think it's hillarious that Jim Day, Thom Brennaman, etc made such a big deal over it, and egged people on to do it.. Now they want it gone?

We're probably going to have to sit with it through the end of the year. It might die over the offseason..
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

If it was a huge issue wouldn't a Rolen or Votto step up to a mike (not in the Sam Wyche sense) and tell the fans to stop it? That would kill it pretty quick I would think.

The 2 tv guys both liked it quite a bit when it first started (Thom & Chris?). I got a chuckle out of it the first game, but now its pretty annoying.

I hope our fans keep doing it. (And I have no doubt we will.)
Serve beer until the 9th inning and they will.

Pretty much. Im not surprised at all the players don't like it. This was funny at 1 in the morning on bark in the park night. Since then, not so much. Long live mullet guy though.

I'm not buying that it's distracting our players. I think Jim Day talked to one or two players who said it was annoying and that magically turned into "The players don't like it."

I bet some of the players think it's funny/cool/whatever. I can guarantee that they prefer this than playing in front of 8,000 people in a silent stadium as they count down the days until their offseason vacation begins.

I agree there needs to be better-timed "wooing" from Reds fans. But it has potential. I'm shocked at how many RedsZoners don't like it. Lighten up, Fran Fraschilla!

If even one player finds it distracting on the Reds squad, why in the world would the fans keep doing it?

I am sure the opposing players find it more distracting than the Reds players do. The Reds should be used to it by now.

I am not a fan of the wooooing myself.

Pretty sure those doing the woo aren't on Red Zone. It is Terrible in person. Worse on the TV and Radio. A mullet a spare tire sticking out of too tight t shirt and a butt crack showing is what I picture each time I hear it.

Because stopping would make too much sense.
