    R.I.P. Andy Williams

Andy Williams, whose corn-fed good looks, easygoing charm and smooth rendition of "Moon River" propelled him to the heights of music stardom in the early '60s, died Tuesday at his home in Branson, Mo., following a battle with bladder cancer, his family announced.

A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

I feel like I remember him doing a lot of television Christmas specials when I was a child. I always thought he had a very good voice.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

He did those every year for a long time, seemed like my whole childhood and then some, and I was born in '62. Some Osmond or other did those with him every year it seemed, too.
