Boy Aoki got a terrible read on that ball.

    Not that I mind.

Unfreakingbelievable. That is up there with my favorite finishes of the year.

(I have faith though that we come back today)
We really should start listening to that Pocoroba guy!

    Navarro in the postgame interview:

"This team - our starting rotation is great, our bullpen is sick. It's a lot of fun."

    Amen Dioner!

Bring on whomever in the playoffs. It is not going to matter.

    Stars of the Game:

    3) Frazier
    2) Navarro
    1) Latos

2 and 3 are interchangeable. Latos is a mule.

I hear what you are saying but then again, the pitching staff sure did what was needed to get a win. They gave up only one walk and one extra base hit all day.

Our offense is obviously going to step up to some extent, but if they do, we have the starting pitching and bullpen that can get us deep into the playoffs.

Has anyone ever seen a hitter win the game three different times in one at-bat like Dioner did?

And to just think that when that deal was done there were many people complaining about we gave up too much and that Latos was a product of Petco Park. He got off to a slow start, but has been an absolute beast since then. His attitude has been great I think so far. It's amazing what being a winner will do for a player, a team, and a fanbase. Fay tweeted that Reds attendance has gone up every year since 2009. From 1.7 million up now to 2.3 million. I SEE A DEEEEEEEEEP RUN IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!

Watched the replay and I cannot believe Aoki didn't catch that. Considering he catches everything we hit in his area code that was just a brutal mistake at the worst time.

He crushed two fouls balls that had home run distance before he hit that double gapper to win it.
