Votto is 39 PA short of qualifying. If he gets 15 in the last 3 games, he will need to add 24 outs to qualify. With that, he will need to go 11-15 for .337.
10-12 if he walks 3 times, 9-9 if he walks six times. I know it does not mean that much, but it is something I will root for over the last 3 games. Posey is not playing today. If he gets 12 more abs with 2 hits, his average goes down to .332. A Votto batting title is possible.

Votto is a pro, he doesn't need to jam up his game to win trophies, it's not of his ilk.
Heck with it. I know that Joey Votto has a higher OBP and SLG %; therefore, I am OK with Buster Posey winning this batting title thing.
Put a nice shiny ring on his finger at the end of the month and the batting title won't matter that much.
