Ludwick hurting or are they just being careful?

Nationals lost 2-0. Be interesting to see how they handle the next few games since they won the division tonight. Will they rest players or go for the one seed.

Nats lose to Phils, but celebrate their Eastern Division championship.

Reds can jump on top for best record, but only if they score. Runs.

Descalso triples to left center. 4-1 Cards. The Cards scorer is a joke giving him a triple there.

Feels like the Cards always play add-on when they face Simon.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

If the Reds lose this game root for SF. STL would have nothing to play for
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Simon not helping his cause for making post season roster...I'd take Leake in long relief..

Ugh, the dreaded 4 runs against. The point where you can count us officially out of a game. Wish I was kidding.
Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.
