I would like to go on the record as saying I am fine with the Reds having to go to West Coast at the moment. The parks there play large and appear to favor teams that pitch and field well. For a change, this is the definition of the Reds. Additionally the Reds starters as a group appear to be well suited for a trip out to SF. I would rather play them than either ATL or ST. L at the moment.

IMO its easier to start a game at 4 in the afternoon than it is at 10 at night. When I head out west I am raring to go at 6 AM but dead tired around 8. I know baseball players keep a different schedule than I do but I have always found those 3 hours to be much more difficult to handle than one or even two.

I missed most of the Reds-Phils playoff series. Which may not have been a bad thing. I'm going to be more proactive about it this time.
