    Re: 10/2/2012 Reds at Cardinals

Truthfully I don't care about the Nationals. The only thing I am pulling for is for the Cardinals not to make the playoffs, whether it's by us and the Dodgers winning #2 WC spot or by them losing that WC game.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Reds should be making flight plans to San Francisco. It looks inevitable about now.

On the long flight, the Reds might want to read some hitting instructional books.

There's the groundball Latos needed, only not in the right spot.
