I got a case of Prima Pils that will be my companion for the first few games.

I am traveling for the last two games, so whatever the random sports bar has on tap for those two!

A few Mooseheads for me , but not too much to impair my finely tuned rooting skills.

If I'm at the game I go for Yeunling, either the tall boys from the UDF (they're only $10, best bang for your buck) or the draft from the 3rd base side. If it's too far I'll go with a budweiser.

If I'm at home, most likely bourbon on the rocks. My go to is W.L. Weller (either 90 proof or the 12 year) That or a nice hoppy IPA.

Sam Adams lager, and for the later innings Crown Royal on the rocks.

The playoffs are no time to be drinking the cheap stuff.

    But I digress...

I used to think it was novel to stock my fridge with more-expensive, non-mainstream beers until I realized no one gives a damn and I didn't really like them. Now I'm 41 years old, spending gobs of money to support the activities of four children, so I'm all about more ounces per dollar. Give me a case of cold PBR and I'm a happy guy - plus none of my neighbors steal it on poker night. (If I lived in Ohio, it would be a no brainer: Yuengling. I didn't think I'd buy into the hype, but truth be told, I love it.)

Lastly, I echo your sentiment: life's too short. Don't drink beer that inflicts pain!
Nothing wrong with PBR, it is priced right for what it is. The mainstream 'lites' are over priced and over rated. I think the occasional Raddler drinker can still criticize lite beer and not break any "Man Laws". It was more a playful shot at the Mango Rum.
    Pinch hitting for Pedro Borbon...

And I was just busting your chops for drinking Summer Shandy. It's all good.

P.S. Mainstream lite beers are only overrated if you don't like them.

Usually after a couple bong rips the pina colada's are delicious!

Of course for the one, maybe two NLDS games I will be at it will have to be Coke. The beer is way overpriced and I can bring "a liter of cola" into the game for free.

My 21st birthday is Sunday -- or starts Saturday at midnight.

Thankfully I live right across from a bar so as soon as the clock strikes midnight, I know where I'm watching the end of game 1.

Happy birthday. Drink responsibly, but happy birthday. A good 21st is one you will remember.
