We could have had a thread prediciting R/FF's answer but everyone would have made the same guess.

I'll still be at the Holy Grail on Saturday night in a Reds jersey and an Ohio State hat (they kick off at 8 p.m. vs. Nebraska) rooting against my prediction.

That's one bet I would not make.

2-0 Reds. They score in the 3rd and in the 7th. Cueto pitches out of some early jams, and is Cueto, goes 7 strong with only 5 K's. The bullpen comes in and does the rest.

Giants win 6-2. After allowing a single run in the 2nd, Cueto gets in trouble in the 6th inning and Ondrusek gives up a 3 run homer to Big Panda.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Hopefully Hoover makes the squad and not Logan. I say the Reds lose 4-1. Dont know how but thats what I think. Arroyo comes back strong and we win going away in game 2.

Game will start at 9:37 pm Eastern time and will end sometime thereafter.

Reds and Giants post-season squads will all show up.

No predictions yet but I want to note that Cain currently has not yet given up a hit. That's right Cain has a no hitter going, no Reds hitter has reached base yet.

    NO HITTER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There we go, I hope that helps.

    Reds win.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

It's been 37 years since the Reds lost a World Series game. Not even the Yankees can say that.
