I can't back this up, but he seemed to really hit the ball as hard as anyone, albeit he wasn't the best contact guy obviously.

Send that Larry Jones bum to AAA.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

2-1 Atlanta. Huge error by Chipper let's runners get on the corners instead of getting a DP.

Pujols finally leaves the Cardinals but it looks like they have a pretty good hitter in Craig.

I am resigned to the fact that every hitter the Cardinals pull out of their backside and put in their lineup regularly will hit .300. It defies explanation.

Ugh, Braves. Try not to be so Bravey today.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

    David Freakin' Ross. Again.

Home run and then drops a perfect bunt single.

Wow that was a huge turn of events. Right call by the ump, but still, that's a rally killer.

Well that sucked. Seems like every break always goes The Cards' way. In every game. Every season.
