    OVER!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I don't think I've enjoyed watching a baseball game not featuring the Reds more than the last two.

It doesn't take away the sting of the Reds in the NLDS for me but it does make me feel awfully good watching the Cards choke away their chance at going back to the World Series.

    Congrats Giants!

    Re: Postseason Scoreboard watching....

Justice is served. The Cardinals had no business in the playoffs, had no business beating Washington, and their pitching didn't warrant being there. Carpenter clearly was nor up to snuff ( and at his age he never will be) and that is so satisfying. Heck with the wild card. It should never be part of the equation in baseball. And interleague play should stop now. I have no interest in the World Series.
    That's sad.
