Simmons, for whatever reason, bunted with 1st and 3rd with one out. In real time it looks like the throw is just offline and up the 1st base line so 2 runs score. But it turns out Simmons was in the baseline and the ball hit off his helmet, so he's out. 100% momentum killer.

Simmelton laid down a bunt. Lohse's throw hit him in the helmet and skipped down the 1B line allowing two runs to score. But they called him out on interference and it killed the inning.

Bunt that the Cards threw up the RF line. Then the home plate umpire ruled (correctly) that the runner going to 1b was out of the baseline, so everyone had to return to their bases, and the batter was out.

Must be an amazing team that finished nine games ahead of such a team

Cards have the best offense in the NL Playoffs. Let's hope for a Braves comeback here. But worst case is they are the Nationals problem for a week.

No, to me, worse case is that I end up having to watch the Cardinals in the World Series, again.

The Braves guy was badly out of the baseline. Umps got the call perfect. Not a break for the Cards. Braves got what they deserved.

    Ugh. Holliday makes it 4-2.

Is the TBS feed really herky-jerky for anyone else? It's awful for me.

Cardinals just sneak into the playoffs, and start playing like world beaters.

And here's where the Cards implode. Loshe done, bullpen coming in to give it up.

Matheny going to the bullpen after 5.2 innings.

La Russa must be calling the shots via cell phone. :P

That doesn't count. He didn't go to the bullpen there, he went to another starter. :O)
