... at least it wasn't a bogus infield fly call this time.

Armando. Andres was his big brother that played with the Expos a long time ago.

Obviously,Joyce has problems at first base.

God I love the human element. That call being incorrect increased booth my enjoyment and the legitimacy of the game much more than taking 20 seconds to get it right would have.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Exactly. Why are there still people defending it??

    Man I hate Raul Ibanez.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Oh of course, it's Ibanez, who I have not seen get an out in about 4 years. Every time I watch him he's hitting something far and important.

This day is a giant pile of suck.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Of course, the key to winning playoff games is to bring Andy Pettite out of retirement and to sign Raul Ibanez.

    There is no God.

Oh and throw Chris Carpenter out there. He hasn't pitched since before taxes were due but he'll be Cy Young.

But for you Reds, your best pitcher wil pull an oblique on the fifth pitch...

And he was pinch-hitting for A-Rod, no less.
