Valverde sucks. 2 run HR to Ichiro.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Wow. How stupid do you have to be to pitch to Ibanez with Valverde?

The right porch in Yankee Stadium is a joke.

The Reds should bring in their right field porch and dump everybody who isn't Joey Votto and Jay Bruce and fill the rest of the team with left handed hitters. Maybe then we can be America's Team.

The Yankees always win. That's the first rule of baseball.

I'd say Jim Leyland is right now. Valverde is terrible and him pitching to Ibanez there was one of the dumbest decisions I have ever seen. No hyperbole.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Looks like Derek Jeter just suffered a major leg injury in the 12th inning. He had to helped off the field with no weight on his leg

Gotta feel bad for Jeter, but if the shots of the despondent Yankee fans with their head in their hands was supposed to also elicit sympathy, it did not work on me.

This postseason is full of heartache. Last man standing wins?

Hate to see that. Glad the Tigers won the game though.
