This looks to be a familiar tune for San Fran. Something tells me the series isn't over yet

SF is who we thought they were. We let 'em off the hook. The Cards won't do the same.

I like this inning. And that crowd, what a difference between this and quiet half empty Yankee Stadium earlier.

    6-4 game.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Extra wild card playoff game just increases the likelihood that the World Series won't involve the best regular season teams.

So as of right now, we could get the Tigers and Cards. I saw that World Series once, Mickey Lolich was the star.

Not sure thats the way the World Series should be. 6-4 Cards, bottom eight, in SF game one NLCS.

If I'm Bochy, I'm thinking of starting Timmy instead of Zito.

I saw it once too. The Tigers were a far better team but the Cardinals won thanks to Jeff 'Cy Young' Weaver.

    Season devalued. It's ridiculous, IMHO.

In those things which we commit to practice we can master, and with mastery we have the freedom to use these skills whenever we desire, without this practice we are slaves to our inability.
