The last time I looked, Cairo and Valdez were in the top 3 in the NL for worst OBP with 150 AB's....so yes, I hope we don't see them play for the rest of the year.

Glad that Hoover made it. Maybe it's just me, but I would take Leake over Arredondo because of the bat and I think Leake could be effective.

I would've preferred Mesoraco to Cairo at this point as well, but overall pleased here.

Absolutely no surprises based on which players Baker was playing down the stetch.

Its possible leake could be added to the NLCS roster. He could replace a pitcher in the bullpen maybe.

He should of made the NLDS roster. With his bat, speed on base paths, and pitching I am at a loss why he is not on the roster. These games should be low scoring games with the potential to be exta inning games. Leake should be on the roster.

Does Dusty have the final say on the 25 man, or does Walt?

Does anyone know whether certain guys left off the roster still get to be there with the team for the postseason? It would be pretty rough to be a contributor all year and then get sent home.

I have no idea, but you have suddenly become incredibly good looking.

They can add and take away guys after the NLDS. If someone got hurt and could not play the rest of the series they can also add a player....for injury only.

It's borderline malpractice that the Reds kept Hamilton off the roster all of September and then put dreck like Cairo and Valdez on the postseason roster. Sometimes I'm amazed that an organization that can be so smart about certain things can be so dumb about obvious things.

Will the Cueto injury mean he will need to be replaced on the playoff roster?

If they place him on the "disabled list" he would have to sit out the NLCS. However, Jocketty just said they do not anticipate this happening.

That would be Dianna Agron. She's definitely all kinds of hot.

Yes, I believe they are allowed to have as many as they want with the club, but most clubs limit it to a manageable number. They don't want the dugout and clubhouse to be overcrowded.

I read that Leake, Ondrusek, and Mesoraco are with the traveling party. I saw Leake talking to Dusty's son in the dugout last night.

He better be talking to Dusty's daughter so he can get on the roster
