Why didn't he throw that pitch? Ugh.

Pitching coaches always tell pitchers to throw the ball when time is called. This is why.

    Yeah, stay classy.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

Didn't look like back pain. I have a bad back and when it acts up I'm limping.

Something to think about: you're either pitching Arroyo on 3 days rest of Leake in game 5 now.

You want a spark to ignite the offense? There it is.

Think it was a side or oblique.

It's definitely in his lower back area. That's where he was reaching.

I think the mods should make a one time exception and allow any and all cussing to take place on the game thread righ now. If so, I'd be happy to get it started....

Best solution: Don't let it get to Game 5.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

One thing that should fire the Reds up where the Giants fans cheering as Cueto left.

I hope you're right. This team has shown it can step up when they need to push through adversity.

Lecure is a former starter. He can go deep into the game.
