With Jnny's injury and Homer's ability on the road, I'd pitch him tomorrow, go with Bronson in Game 3 to open Cincy (hopefully for the sweep). I wouldn't pitch Latos past the 7th tonight, that way, if Cueto can't go in game for, Mat can come back. If Cueto can go then Latos pitch Gamer 5 (if needed) or can open the NCLS (if they make it) with plenty of rest.
Keep in mind, though, that Homer worked Wednesday. So it would be on three days' rest.
I think they like Arroyo in SF since he's prone to the homer, and SF is tough homer stadium.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
