Sickening. Completely, utterly sickening. And you know the trolls will be here within an hour to rub it in.....

That little thing that the Reds were missing is what the Cards have had for a couple of years now. They find a way to get the big hit when they need it.

Truly remarkable...hate em or not, it's freakin impressive to watch.

167 career games for Drew Storen with just 8 blown saves, handed 2 runs in the 9 to go to the NLCS and he blows it. He now has 9 BS in his career and 4 are to the Cards the team he grew up loving.

Makes me wonder where Storen's loyalty really lies.....

Trolls are fools with no lives whatsoever. Who goes over to another team's board in the first place? And then simply to gloat? Pathetic. And they all say the same crap. We just want to talk some intelligent baseball. Whatever. This board has been open for a decade and they just want to talk intelligent baseball at playoff time? And the only thing they ever say is our team is better than your team. Or our so and so is better than your so and so. They can save their collective breath. Ignore function on stun.

I am not impressed. Just too many borderline calls going their direction. They play on easy mode.

Ed Hickox needs some balls to not be scared to end a series on a check swing!

Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard.

I won't disagree that they got some borderline calls in the 9th, but those were still darn good at bats.

And Descalso and Kozma were the heroes...seriously, it's just crazy.

I hate em and I'm still impressed. I wish the Reds could have found some of that magic yesterday afternoon.

For as miserable as I feel right now, that is the damned funniest thing I've seen in a while. Adding it to my sig!

Whatever works...that's all I'm saying. They're my least favorite team in baseball, but I can still appreciate their inability to die.

I'm debated writing a post on all the Cards luck but i realized it would be like writing a small novel. What sucks is if the Astros went to the AL West this year the Cards don't make it even with lame 2nd WC. They were 14 over total and half of it was to that one team.

They started 20-11 and then went 56-59 so 3 games under .500 for 115 games which is 71% of the season before finishing 12-4. How the eff can a team be in the NLCS who played under .500 for 71% of the season in the row? Oh year the 2nd WC!

I have to admit that was a hell of a game, the Cards did what we couldn't do.

Now I have to root for the team that beat us, yay...
