Are they? Interesting. I wouldn't know because I'm watching Survivor and have something recording on another channel, so I'm locked out until Survivor ends.

(Yes, I have cable, so I have to deal with that. Guess my cable box sees me naked. But it's either that, or no HD.)

Some of that rain looked pretty intense. I know they want to get these games in if at all possible, but any idea how long they let it ride before they decide they have to postpone?

Trust me, it was intense. We had tornado sirens and torrential rain at work about 5pm. You couldn't see the first row of cars in the parking lot outside the produce windows because the rain was so heavy.

Yeah, but given what they were showing on the radar, it seems clear that buckets of it are moving in. They said 100% chance starting around 9:45 and continuing until around midnight.

Definitely better safe than sorry, I'd say. And kudos for not making us wait any longer under the idea that a game might happen later on.

I guess now the only question is whether Cardinals-Giants will be resumed tonight.

I wish I didn't like watching baseball so much its kinda stupid to sit around for 3+ hours to watch a team I dislike win with scrubs in the NLCS as the 11th best team in MLB.

Jason Motte has never had a 2 inning save in his career so you know his first will be in the NLCS.

3rd positive result from 3 different RF off the bench, two of which wouldn't even play on any of the other playoff teams.

Using the metrics you favor, Craig is a much better defender than Carpenter.
