Rumor has it that it was Rasmus' Dad that was traded.

Wow more breaks for the Cards as Harper tries to do to much on a bad throw into the infield and gets thrown out at 3rd.

Very true. His dad is the bain of his existence.

Magdal is the biggest Cards homer I've ever seen.

Ha! I enjoy your posts Hometown, you aren't blindly critical of other teams and speak the truth about your own team. It makes for good conversations.

When they say defense wins championships this should be the game tape right after the Braves game in the WC game.

Zimmerman can't come up with Craig's hard grounded in the 2nd, that run scored and opened door for 2 two out runs. Espinosa's error with the infield in gave up another run and then Morse can't track down Beltan's foul ball just before hitting a HR. The Jay's catch saved a run as Espinosa would have tripled if the ball doesn't somehow hit Jay on the bounce back if he would have not caught it.

If the Nats played a clean game on D they it could a 4-3 lead even without the Jay's play.

I agree. You can see some jitters, even now. Routine plays being booted or misplayed. Same went for the Braves, except for Uggla, he's never been much of a defender.

The Count to Jay was 2-0 but the TBS box had both balls in the strike zone by 6-8 inches.

Reds fans who wanted to play the Cardinals better start pulling for the Nats, their cold bats are heating up and Holliday is still hitting into bad luck. Cards fans are now counting up to the total of the score every time they get a run.
