Tigers up 2-0 in the ALCS going home for game 3 and will have Justin Verlander starting vs Phil Hughes. Two teams not even in the top 10 of MLB this both could be playing in the World Series.

Madison Bumgarner has been terrible the last two months, final 7 starts of the season 5.89. NLDS 8.31 and now 9 in the NLCS! David Freese has 25 RBI in 25 playoff games is hitting .400 now!

The MLB line with 2 strikes this year was .178/.244/.273/.517, in this game the Cardinals already have 3 hits and a HR in 3 innings with 2 strikes.

Last 29 games of the season for Lynn after his 6-0 start he had a 4.46 ERA, in the playoffs he had a 7.36 ERA and in game one of the NLCS he has a no-hitters over the first 3.

Daniel Descalso .227 in 2012 and Pete Kozma a .236 career minor league hitter almost cut 5 different times this year do it again, lol.

5th two strike hit, 2nd two strike HR and 6th 2 out RBI.

    2012 MLB with 2 strikes
    .178/.244/.273/.517
    2012 MLB with 2 outs
    .241/.321/.385/.706

And people actually think they aren't lucky?

i expect the Cardinals to win this series 4-1. Giants weren't a very good team which makes the collapse to them feel that much worse

Posey falls because of the on deck bat and still catches it.

    He's solid.

Have you been watching the game? Bumgarner was throwing slop.

Only Cards fans still think the best teams win in the playoffs, how cute. Look above a couple posts and see how the weakest teams are about to win more playoffs games than the teams in the best record in baseaball in the playoffs in 2000's.
Sounds like an argument you'll only hear from a loser..."the best team didn't win". Hey...whatever helps you sleep at night. Enjoy watching your better team not play in the WS while we cardinal fans settle for the wild card and another parade down Market street.

Team's just don't hit like that in those situations no matter who's pitching, and he's getting them to two strikes so its not like they are roping the first thing they see.
