Which played do you honestly think he is the one who was good for the 82 PA this year or the one who sucked over the 2774 PA he had in the minors and in the majors last season?

The Cardinals getting Mujica saved their season, it took most of the game out of Matheny's hands and slotted the last 3 innings rather than him using random guys in the 7th and 8th depended on situation.

It happens all the time that an iffy minor league hitter comes up and slugs it for a month or two until the "book" on him is established....right now, Kosma is very dangerous. (at this time)

Now let's see what Holiday does here!

Error the right call on the LaRoche toss. Have to stop any thoughts of insurance runs now or Stammen will be yanked.

Nobody hits in the .230's for over 2400 AB in the minors and becomes a good MLB hitter, nobody! The only reason he wasn't released before now is that they spent 1st round money on him.

Well, Cards are probably gonna take game 1. Or at least it looks that way as Holiday is plunked to have the bases loaded no outs.

OK. Now this is bad news. Stammen out as predicted. Another run won't be a big deal. Another 2 or 3 would mean a Nats loss. My view anyway. Disappointing outing for Stammen.

Error, Single HBP and the Nats have the sacks packed with no ours. I think people are starting to catch on to just how lucky they honestly are, if they do win the WS they will have 3 of the 4 worst records to even do so and already have 2 of the 3 worst if they don't.

Though of course you may be proven right, way too early to say that.

He says as they get 1st out at the plate.
