I always thought your best hitter should hit 3rd... Why isn't Posey hitting 3rd?

    Good, good.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Btw, this first inning is a perfect example of why Dusty chose to start Bronson in SF instead of Homer. His stuff is less prone to damage here.

Arroyo looks focused. His hands are chilly.

That way if he comes up in the first inning, you know he is coming up with runners on base. Too many times the 3rd hitter bats in the first inning with 2 outs and no one on base.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
