NLDS Game 3 - Giants at Reds 10/9/12

I'll be at this one (as well as several other mods) so you guys better behave!!

And since the results were so good with a 9-0 victory last time around, I'd feel negligent if I didn't declare my love for Dianna Agron at least once!

I would seriously empty my savings to be this guy. Holy crap!

Now that that's out of the way... Let's win this thing and move onto the NLCS!!

5:37 start time?! I have to teach tonight, but my throat's starting to feel real scratchy.

Yes that is the start time.

Lets win this thing tonight and don't let the Giants think they have a chance to come back.

Here's the Giants lineup. Looks like they are sticking to the same lineup as the first two games.

    1. Angel Pagan (S) CF
    2. Marco Scutaro (R) 2B
    3. Pablo Sandoval (S) 3B
    4. Buster Posey (R) C
    5. Hunter Pence (R) RF
    6. Brandon Belt (L) 1B
    7. Gregor Blanco (L) LF
    8. Brandon Crawford (L) SS
    9. Ryan Vogelsong (R) P

Re: NLDS Game 3 - Giants at Reds 10/9/12

And the Reds lineup, per Fay:

    Brandon Phillips 4
    Zack Cozart 6
    Joey Votto 3
    Ryan Ludwick 7
    Jay Bruce 9
    Scott Rolen 5
    Ryan Hanigan 2
    Drew Stubbs 8
    Homer Bailey 1
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Re: NLDS Game 3 - Giants at Reds 10/9/12

I'm pumped for tonight's game. Headed to the ball park earlier to go to the Hall of Fame. I had some bobbleheads to pick up. As a member, I also got a free tour of the park today, although with the playoffs it was a bit scaled down. Got to meet Jaimie from Better Off Red.

Also, while in the Hall of Fame building, I was interviewed by your NBC news affiliate. I was nervous since my friend was also filiming me with his iPhone in the background. I will probably end up on the editing room floor, but it was exciting nonetheless for this out-of-towner

The park looks great. Can't wait to see it filled with red tonight.

Hoping for a much better outcome than when I was at game three in 2010.

    Go Reds!

I sure would like that batting order more if Dusty would slide Cozart down to 7th or 8th and slide everybody else up 1 spot.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

    Yupyupyup.

Votto is the perfect two hitter right now.

Those look almost where I was sitting that final Friday against the Dodgers, only I was on the aisle, not against the glass.
