I wonder what "grade" Cozart's strain was considered. Regardless can't imagine that he will be allowed to take the hill for at least a little while. That is not good news.

    Not good news at all!

Having said that, this team has shown all year they can overcome some adversity. I would never have predicted what this team did when JoVo went down.

Just makes winning it all that much sweeter. Adversity is part of the equation. This team just needs to keep getting after it. Cueto will be missed. But the job still gets done.

Game 1 of the World Series is Oct. 24. Cueto's injury occurred. Oct. 6. That's doable. Would expect them to DL him today. #reds

sounds IF they make it to the WS he may be able to go sometime during then, which would be HUGE, would need him to win the whole freaking thing IMO

Why were they even thinking back spasms?

    He was grabbing his side.

    Reds' medical staff, once again.

Not sure what that all has to do with it? Not like they put him back out there for game 2 and made it worse, don't think they could have done anything to prevent it

Next time a batter backs out Cueto needs to throw the damn ball.

Man, that really bites. I was counting on Cueto for the NLCS, if not to finish off the Giants. Heal fast!

The way I look at it is that Cueto would only play 1 or 2 games in the series, yeah it could be a big deal if it were the deciding games but we still have great pitchers in Latos Arroyo and Homer to fill in. My main point is atleast it's not a every day player like Phillips or Votto, which would be a huge miss if they got injured.

They did know. I heard it from the MOST reliable of sources during the late iniings of game 1. You can figure it out who it was by checking my other posts.

If that were true, why did they go on and on about back spasms being the problem?

Doc Hollywood likes to cover his butt instead of taking care of business. The Reds should had said nothing until they decided a course of action.
