I'd like to retract feeling good about Leake and Navarro.

Hanigan probably makes contact with the bases juiced in the 1st.

This is shaping up to be one of the all-time epic choke jobs in ML history, at least in modern playoff history.

Dusty Baker is managing like a moron. Mike Leake just stinks. I've been saying that since he was drafted. And this team can't buy a hit anymore. The offense is too inconsistent.

Lincecum is going to salt this one away and we are going to blow this thing.

This team has been nothing more than mediocre since September.

    Good teams:
    Score runs
Don't leave men left on (unless it's the Cards who get 14 hits at will)
    Answer the bell

    Bad teams:
    Don't score runs
Leave a surplus of men on base game after game (like the Reds)
Never answer the bell (like the Reds)

This game is over. You are lying if you think otherwise, because this team has noooo comeback juice at all. The season is on Latos' arm tomorrow and boy oh boy, how embarrassing will it be if we lose this series.

No team has ever come back from a 2-0 deficit in a best-of-five series. It ain't happening this year either.

One thing the Reds are really good at, however, is going out with nothing but a whimper while they tuck their tails.

Sorry, dude...but I predict you're wrong. Our bats have gone fallow. The wind is out of these guys' sails.

The Reds may end up winning this series, but ole uncle Mo is heavily on the side of the opposing dugout.

I'm just really glad we kept Stubbs instead of trading for .307 hitting Juan Pierre.

    or

I'm just really glad we kept the ever-so-used-in-the-playoffs Logan Ondrusek instead of trading him for a .307 hitting Juan Pierre.

Yeah, they ONLY have a 2 time Cy Young winner. I'm not saying it's over, but I am saying its not looking pretty.

Oh yes they do. Against this bunch, almost anyone is an ace right now, but Lincecum will channel vintage Lincecum today.
