Would have produced better results than Mike Leake.

Get Lecure up. The playoffs is not the time to do confidence building exercises for your worst SP.

This is how I feel about him. I think I would've tried to pitch LeCure from the start and made it a bullpen affair.

You don't know that to be a fact. It's easy for anyone behind a keyboard to second guess the Reds decisions. Teams deal with adversity in the playoffs. It's not a magic carpet ride of no stress. This board needs to take a collective chill pill.

Well with the pitcher's spot coming up, you'd like to get out of this inning at least.

Which is why he should never have been put in this spot.

The Reds understood this when they left him off the post-season roster.

Couldn't have been worse than what we're getting from the shirt thief.

This is correct. Everyone relax. Looks like a home run day at GABP, that works for both teams.

Problem with the playoffs is the other team is good too. Nobody said it would be easy.

Is now a bad time to bring up that Mike Trout was taken in the same draft as Leake, but like 17 spots later then Leake?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Sam LeCure made the postseason roster.

    Mike Leake didn't.

That tells me even the Reds understood he wasn't worth pitching in this series.
