“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Fraiser I get. But why not play Hannigan?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Frazier in the lineup. Rather shocked that Navarro is in there. The only thing I know is Dusty must want as many leftys as possible in the lineup or Hanigan and Leake just don't get along with each other.

I've never been this nervous for a game. This is unreal.

Dusty said he's treating it like a day-game-after-night-game scenario, thus Frazier and Navarro. Navarro does have higher slugging (2 HRs) this year against LHP than RHP.

Yeah, I'm nervous too. I noticed at the game last night though that I wasn't nearly as nervous being there in person as I am watching on TV.

Need your best defense behind Leake. So I'm not a huge fan of this lineup.

You can criticize the use of Frazier at third base with a ground ball pitcher going, true.

On the other hand, from a power perspective, Frazier and Navarro are more likely to hit a long ball than Rolen or Hanigan right now.

Scott Rolen had 10 errors in 87 games this year in the regular season. He has 2 in 3 postseason games. He really doesn't do anything well at this point in his career.

Perhaps the little bit of juggling will provide the heroes for the clinching game. I see putting our best offensive lineup out there, except for Stubbs over Heisey. Dusty figuring the need for runs is more important than the couple of ground balls hit to third. When it gets late, you can bring in Rolen and hope he doesn't get in no man's land on a short hop again.

Yea, because number of errors is the sole measure of defense.

Not sure how you define "well", but Rolen was a key contributor to the Reds winning the division this year. Despite a horrendous starting and being injured, he ended up being a league average 3B during the time he played
