I would have hit for Stubbs there. They don't need Stubbs in CF in this ballpark. Once the lefty came out, no need for Stubbs to hit.

Hey Stubbs...hear that sound coming up behind you? It's a guy named "Hamilton" who is trying to learn center field down in our farm system. Please let that spur you to, at least, mediocrity at the plate for the rest of the playoffs.

...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

If true, it makes you just shake your head at the whole scouting thing.

Yep, someone in the dugout needs to start a rumor that the Reds are closing in on a deal for Denard Span to start Game 1 of the NLCS or Game 5 tomorrow.

Memo to Mike Leake. You can't be a successful ground ball pitcher allowing all these home runs. The idea of a ground ball pitcher is to avoid long hits, such as home runs.

Leake is a better hitter then Stubbs.

Leake nibbles his way to walking Sanchez.

According to the TBS analyst, the Giants took the lead for the first time in the series tonight, despite winning last night.

Stop letting the Giants step out all the time! Good grief it's beyond annoying.
