The excellence of having a team in the postseason

Because it beats the heck out of trying to figure out who else you would like to see win based on who knows what criteria.

We're not doing the "rate the Reds prospects" thread yet. Maybe it's still too early, but it's nice to worry about who's pitching game 4 of the playoffs. I hated last night's result, but still do enjoy having a winning team in the playoffs, with a chance to advance.

Hey, at least there's no "Countdown to Spring Training" thread started yet.
Opinions are like belly buttons. Everybody has one, and they don't want someone else's shoved into their face.

Forcing myself to consider blowing off work to go to a playoff game is great.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98
