Hard to field with your arms over your throat.

With the anemic offense, that should about do it.

This is like 2010 all over again -- except with two wins on the road beforehand.

    Ballgame.

This is one of the worst choke-jobs I've ever seen. Flat-out dominant in 2 games, just flat in the rest.

Price needs to get out there and calm latos down.

And the Cards will probably sweep the Giants right out of the Playoffs...

    I'm dead.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

And yet again, in the playoffs, our defense just doesn't it get it done.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

If the Reds get one run, they can blow it open easy. I feel like they're just having a block on that first run.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Well, Latos had been pretty good until now. The offense, not so much.
