    It wouldn't be a pitcher's duel if our hitters would quit swinging at crap for pitches. Last pitch wouldn't even count as a pitch "too close to take with 2 strikes"

    I really would like a new hitting coach on the staff next year regardless who the manager is. Not that Jacoby has done a horrible of a job... But a set of fresh eyes and Ideas might do wonders for some these guys....

    He's still throwing almost all fastballs. The longer he does it without being in trouble, the deeper he should be able to go.
