If the fans would have just a little more supportive, I'm sure this wouldn't have happened.

Nope but he choses who is. Games 3 AND 4 he blew it. That lead to all the comments by Jay. The reactions by the fans and now a huge NATIONAL scar of the Reds image. A HUGE scar in the fanbase. Walt has a real decision to make now.

Building for next year is Pirates talk. Next year never comes.

They won't get 30 starts out of all 5 pitchers next year. They won't stay healthy in the everyday 8.

This isn't the 70s. There is no tomorrow for small market teams the majority of the time.

I wish we would have just been swept in 3 games.

You go, Redszone. Show those Reds how upset you are!

His emotional immaturity (fits on the mound) is the reason he loses his focus and can't make pitches.

Lets remember, the Giants had 0 runs coming into that inning. The Reds are capable of doing the same thing.

I do think that is making things much worse. This hurts a lot more than 2010.

I really think it comes down to the team's Achilles heel -- plate discipline. Cain was far from dominant in the first two frames, but our hitters were swinging at everything. That's a fundamental flaw with the "aggressive" hitting approach, and I think it's fixable.

I think everyone should stay and give them a standing ovation when they lose. It will make him feel better for choking.

or maybe everyone should get a medal or trophy for getting this far.

I just wanted to sniff the NLCS, winning 2 games and then losing the next 3 isn't the 'improvement' I expected from 2010.
