So the goal for this year was not to get swept in the playoffs. Next year, the goal is to win a home game. Baby steps.

My apartment looks right into the main entrance of GABP and I have to say I'm embarrassed by the number of fans leaving early. I would have loved to be inside today but had to work until mid-game.

This might be Scotts last AB ever.

If this is Rolen's last AB, 2012 will see the last plays by two all-time great 3B - Chipper and Rolen.

Suprising to some, some people do have personal lives to get to. Well, I don't have a personal life but I have to get my daughter to xc practice in 15 minutes. So she has a life.

Apparently Affeldt was the guy trying to avoid the foul shot into the dugout, and he fell down the steps to the clubhouse.

Yeah. It sucks now, but it's miles ahead of 2010. Or the Lost Decade.

Tough break for Hanigan. He at least put good wood to the bat.
