That's right, I'm paid to endure heartbreaking losses. Carry on.

this is about as good as it's ever been put. I'm sure Cub and Giant fans concur.

Every inning is like Lucy pulling the ball away from Charlie Brown.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

So who should we trade for this offseason?

Hit and run? It wasn't a hit and run. You don't hit and run with 2 strikes. It was a move to stay out of the double play with a guy who hits a lot of them and who doesn't strike out a lot. It didn't work, it was the right move IMO.

The bullpen has been great this game. Too bad they didn't come in a little bit earlier.

Chapman/Corcino straight up for Giancarlo Stanton. I'm calling that one right now. Doesn't add payroll and fixes LF/Cleanup hitter.

Dusty will always stick with a struggling starting pitcher until the game is completely out of reach.
