Phillips fouls out to 1st. 2 outs left
2 outs to go. *sob*
Praying to the wrong God Todd... That one obviously hates us...
Will C. Trent blame the fans?
A hit and run is where the batter swings no matter where the pitch is to protect the runners. When the count is 3-2, if it's out of the strike zone it's ball four and the runner is obviously safe or if it's in the strike zone, the batter swings and makes contact, which Hanigan usually does.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"
-Walt Whitman

I'm calling it now. 2 easy outs and game over.

I think the Reds load them up.
I felt it.
2 bloops and a blast and we're back in this thing.
Oh good, now the announcers are jumping on the 'it's Phillips fault' bandwagon. Go to hell.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
