    A hit and run is where the batter swings no matter where the pitch is to protect the runners. When the count is 3-2, if it's out of the strike zone it's ball four and the runner is obviously safe or if it's in the strike zone, the batter swings and makes contact, which Hanigan usually does.

    He didn't blame the fans before. He said that a lot of fans just felt this was gong to happen based on how Cincinnati sports work. And he was right. I know I felt like that. I know that every single friend I have also felt like that.
