The Crimson Crusader....knows...!
...heh heh heh heh...
"I offer my opponents a bargain:
...if they will stop telling lies about us, I will stop telling the truth about them."
"Why does everybody stand up and sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"
...when they're already there?"
I thought Dusty managed game 1 to perfection. Game 2 was a blowout. Game 3 we gave up like what, 1 hit in 9 innings? Players gotta win that game.
Yesterday was a mess by not getting Leake sooner, but the Cueto injury didn't help matters at all. Today was up and down, slow to get Latos but decent use of the bench.
Bottom line, the players needed to win game 3.
Was it luck that we had a passed ball in game 3?
Was it luck that we didn't walk the #8 hitter to force Bochy's hand and set up the all around force in game 3?
Was it luck that we left Leake out there to get shelled in Game 4?
Was it luck that we've left a small army on the bases in Games 4 and 5?
Was it luck that we just blew a 2-0 lead with 3 home games?
Was it luck that Pagan made a great play on Navarro's bloop?
Was it luck that Latos' immaturity showed its' ugly head at the worst time and he gave up a Grand Slam to Buster Posey?
Nope. Plain and simple, the Giants beat us. Or maybe we beat ourselves. But, it wasn't luck. It was poor baseball.
I hope he does not come back, it is time for me to hate a new manager
Please one more shot with tying run at the plate!
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.
